A surprise at every corner
Our room was ready early and provided amazing views of the city. The staff's attentiveness. Even the breakfast buffet was a good surprise!

Le Six is modern, very quiet and clean. It's an all non-smoking hotel which was a big reason for me to book this hotel. We had a nice and comfortable stay. The staff, especially the receptionists, are very friendly and helpful. Everyone speaks perfect English. The metro and rer train both are very close. Nevertheless, if I were to stay in Paris again and my main goal was to sightsee, I would choose a hotel much closer to the sights - preferably near the Seine. It's nice to be able to walk to sights. We walked a lot, but from Le Six it can get long and we ended up taking taxis, too.
Le Six is, like many hotels in Paris, on the too expensive side. My bed was very squeaky on the first night and after I told the receptionist the next morning, they promptly fixed the problem - which is a good thing. The cleaning crew seems a bit too worried about clutter. They trashed stuff of ours that was not in the trash, like an empty glass bottle we were going to refill with water, so watch out for that. We also bought a "Paris" Starbucks cup that we left in the paper bag it came in and the cup disappeared. I think the crew trashed it by mistake (?), thinking the bag was trash.

Overall fresh breakfast with beautifully made bacon, pastries plus European tastes and VERY GOOD service. Comfortable location very close to the center of Montparnasse and with restaurants and bakeries around the corner. Nearby La Rotonde - great place to chill out.

The whole story in a nutshell
A good stay revealed a cozy sanctuary near Metro, perfect for exploring Paris. Each room was tastefully decorated with fluffy bedding and luxury amenities. Particularly Charles and Martin, handling requests with warmth. Breakfast was especially nice, with a spread of fine products.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The lady at the reception checked if my train was effected by strike, recommended restaurants and was really helpful to make my stay as nice as possible. The rooms are comfortable and well-equiped (good beds; new and clean furniture; kettle). Also the location in a quiet side street makes it possible to have a quiet and calm stay in a good location (10 min. walk from Deux Magots; 5 min. to jardin de Luxembourg).

They were so nice to us! They upgraded our room since we were on our Honeymoon and had champagne waiting for us! The staff were ready with suggestions and directions. Their English was impeccable!
The bed was a little hard, but other than that the room was spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous!

Recommended for solo travelers looking for comfort
Look, let me tell you, the service was on another level! They treated me like I was some kind of VIP, getting upgraded to a spacious room with a sweet view right after my arrival.
Sure, it wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but honestly, for what you get, it's acceptable.

The classic double room offered a cozy atmosphere, improved with warm décor and a peaceful courtyard view. Staff were great. The area was full of delicious dining options, including marmalade for breakfast, perfect for fueling up before exploring. The common areas had limited seating was nice.

Good location, very obliging staff, high class bathroom. Internet for free.
Too small bedroom, however that's kind of rule in Paris. Almost impossible to use a writting desk, because there was not enough space to sit. Also a view from the room led to a very small courtyard.

I like everything about Le Six. It is our second time in six months. The staff is helpful, professional and very nice. The room is beautiful and this time we were upgraded to a suite! The stay was absolutely perfect and we will continue to stay at Le Six each time we're in Paris. Great location as well - quiet and near all public transportation. We recommended the hotel to friends and they felt the same about it.

We arrived early morning and could immediatly check into our room. That was already a great plus. That was topped of by giving us an upgrade from superior to a suite. Thank you le Six !!!
